In 2008, Doris Nöth, a passionate art collector, donated her extensive collection of around 750 works by renowned artists from mainly southern Germany to her hometown of Ehingen, thus laying the foundation for the Städtische Galerie. The Städtische Galerie is a place where regularly changing exhibitions of contemporary artists stimulate and enrich intellectual and cultural life.
