The municipal museum with the Holy Spirit Hospital provides vivid background knowledge and extensive insights into the city's history.
In addition to valuable sacred and secular art, visitors can marvel at autographs and editions of works by local dialect poets, an archaeological collection, as well as peasant tools and old workshop equipment of earlier craftsmen.
In the former hospital chapel, Gothic and Mannerist wall paintings as well as excellent examples of ecclesiastical sculpture can be seen.
In the geological section of the Ehingen Museum, colorful representations of the Jurassic Sea are on display. Regional rocks and their economic significance in the region can also be experienced in a well-founded themed tour through the center of Ehingen.

The first brewer in Ehingen was mentioned in 1384. We will guide you through the history of beer in our town. Find out why the drink was so important for the town and how it was brewed then and now. Why were and still are there so many breweries and pubs in Ehingen and how did they differ? Learn exciting facts and anecdotes about beer. After the tour, there is a tasting session in one of the breweries.
The tour with city guide Damir Ahmovic lasts around 90 minutes.
Cost: €15.00 per person with beer tasting.
