    Galerie Schrade – Schloss Mochental

Modern art and baroque ambience: These two worlds meet in Mochental Castle and create exciting contrasts.

Built around 1730, the three-winged castle with its 365 windows used to belong to Zwiefalten Abbey and served as the abbots' summer residence. Today, the stately Mochental Castle in Ehingen-Kirchen has been the headquarters of the Ewald Karl Schrade Gallery since 1985. On an area of 2,500 m², the gallery regularly shows changing exhibitions from classical modernism to the present day. The baroque castle architecture and the scenic surroundings make the visit a special cultural experience.
